Semi-automatic PP strapping machine

Table-top machine on wheels that tensions, seals, and cuts plastic strap automatically. The machine is a table on wheels. Inside of which there is a mechanism for tightening and welding the tape, as well as a reel with tape. On the surface of the table there is a groove for the tape, automatically fed to a given length. For packaging, it is necessary to place the item on the table above the groove and, circling the free end of the tape around the item to be packed, insert it into the receiving hole on the table. Tightening, welding and trimming the tape occurs automatically.
 

EXS-303 semi-automatic strapping machine is a new generation of such machines.
Compared to similar machines of the old generation, it performs its functions faster, better, more economically, and more reliably. This became possible due to the use of new design solutions in the organization of the mechanical part and the optimization of electrical systems. Namely:

• the mechanical part is devoid of speed transmission belts and is completely made using gears, and their number is reduced. Belts needed tension control, with partial wear they worsened the accuracy of feeding and maintaining precise parameters of tape tension, complicated the design. Lightweight and simplified maintenance or repair; 
• the tension parameters in this machine can be adjusted very smoothly, selecting the required force that will ensure both the reliability of the packaging and, at the same time, will not damage the goods or packaging with excessive compression. This parameter is controlled by electronics and does not change over time even with partial wear of the mechanism parts and the influence of external factors; 
• the electric motor is in the standby stage between the strapping periods, which significantly reduces the use of electricity and extends the service life; 
• significantly simplified system for strap's loading and feeding from the dispenser; 
• the strap thermal welding unit has been optimized and its design has been simplified, affecting the time of its trouble-free operation and the reliability of the completed tape fastening; 
• the strap feed mechanism has been optimized, which allows you to use tape without problems, which may have some deviations in geometric parameters, which on older generation machines could lead to tape jamming and malfunctions in the semi-automatic machine.
