PET (polyester) strapping is used for palletizing/unitizing of heavy loads as a substitute of steel or cord strapping. While costing less it does not sacrifice strength and is more safe and convenient in operation.  Polyester strap does not damage the packaged objects, has a low stretch factor, and is not subject to corrosion.

PET tape has a number of advantages that make it popular in businesses and manufacturing: 

• elasticity - stretches to 14% and returns to its original state. Due to this property, the PET tape does not damage the load when changing the geometry of the package;

• lightness - 7 times lighter than steel;

• resistance to atmospheric influences - does not rust and does not stain the goods, is resistant to the influence of ultraviolet light and temperature changes;

• does not spring when unpacking - does not spoil the product and does not injure people;

• economy - the price of PET tapes is a third lower than the metal ones.
