What is a pallet packer? Features and specifications

At the moment, such a device as a pallet packer has received widespread use in production and in warehouses. The pallet packer or, as it is also called, the palletizer is a device designed to compile neat and reliable pallets from the cargo by wrapping a special stretch film on the product.

The principle of operation of such a device is quite simple: the load is installed on the pallet pallet packer, then after pressing the start button, the platform begins to rotate slowly, winding the tape around the product, forming a neat, dense and durable film layer on the pallet.

There are two main types of pallet packers:

• automatic, which are used as part of a holistic production line and the process of packaging of goods does not require human control;
• semi-automatic - devices that require a human presence to start work and the packaging process itself. The operator turns the machine on and off, inserts a film, monitors the packaging process. As a rule, such palletizers are used in small warehouses, enterprises or stores.

The use of this equipment has several advantages:

• firstly, time for manual packaging of goods is significantly saved;
• secondly, the packaging quality is of a higher level;
• thirdly, significantly reduced material costs for the material.
